Bruce
C. Funk has litigated hundreds of cases (case
results) for people injured due to the fault of others in both
State and Federal Court. Bruce Funk has been serving the bay area
community for over 16 years. He received his Law Degree from the
University of Santa Clara in 1985, where he was selected as
associate editor of the Santa Clara Law Review. Bruce Funk began
his Civil Litigation career working for Insurance companies
defending the insurance companies interest.
After receiving extensive training
and experience in personal injury law, Bruce Funk opened his own
practice and began representing individuals injured or damaged
through the fault of others. This unique experience has allowed
Bruce Funk to gain insight into how insurance companies handle,
settle, and defend claims. The experience gained by having
practiced insurance defense law, allows Bruce Funk to effectively,
efficiently, and competently represent his clients who have been
injured by others.
The vast majority of clients have
been referred by former clients and other attorneys in the
community. Bruce Funk has the ability to hire private
investigators, accident reconstructionists, economists,
psychologists, psychiatrists, and medical doctors in order to try
and achieve the maximum recovery his clients are entitled to.
Bruce Funk is a member of the
Santa Clara County Bar Association, the Santa Clara County Trial
Lawyers Association, and the Consumer Attorneys of California.
BRUCE FUNK has also been appointed by the Santa Clara County
Superior Court to act as an Arbitrator and a Settlement Judge pro
tem. Bruce Funk has received an AV rating by Martindale
Hubbell™.
Bruce Funk is admitted to practice
law in the State Trial Courts of California, the Federal Courts in
the Northern District of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals,
Ninth Circuit. Bruce Funk recently has become Of Counsel to the
Law Offices Of Timothy Gill, APC. He acts as a consultant to
members of the firm on discovery and trial issues. He also is
retained by the firm to handle certain trials for them.
